Overview

January's high and low temperatures were below normal during the first half of the month. The second half of the month temperatures were warmer than normal reaching 15° and 23° above normal. Temperatures fell below freezing 12 times this month, including 5 days that were below 30°F.

Two new maximum temperature records were set: the 19th at 66°F (former record of 61°F set in 1915) and the 20th at 63°F (former record of 60°F set in 1994).

No new low temperature records were set this month.

There was 2.79 inches of precipitation this month, which is over four inches below normal.

No new precipitation records were set this month.

Total water year precipitation (since October 1) is 59% of normal.
