Overview

March's high temperatures were above normal by up to 10° until mid-month, after which time temperatures returned to normal.

Generally, low temperatures were below normal until the 19th. For the remainder of the month, low temperatures returned to normal or a little above normal. Temperatures dropped below freezing five times, including three days that were below 30°F.

The average high temperature for the month was five degrees above normal.

A new record high temperature of 73°F was set on the 12th; surpassing 1934's record of 72°.

There was just over four and a quarter inches of precipitation this month, which is a quarter of an inch below normal.

No new precipitation records were set.

Total water year precipitation (since October 1) is 55% of normal.
