Thanks George!
April 30, 2008

I wanted to inform everyone that George Taylor has "officially" retired from the Oregon Climate Service. As the remaining person at the Climate Service I wanted to let you all know that I will not be able to provide you all of the information and services that George has provided so many of you all of these years.

However, I can help you by pointing to data that is available online as well as data that we have in hard-copy form from observation forms sent to us monthly by observers throughout the state. I want to encourage all of you who have questions that George would have normally answered to still call the Climate Service because I may still be able to help you, or at least point you in the appropriate direction for you to receive help.

The Oregon Climate Service website will still be in operation and our monthly report will still be published, in abbreviated form.

I just want to thank George personally and professionally for the years that we have worked together and how inspiring it has been to work with you everyday!

Sincerely,

Cadee Hale
